  1.   Jeffrey M. Goldman Says:

The illustration in the Times caught my eye, and I intend to buy your book. The people that bought the house next door to me in Paramus, NJ are Korean-Americnas. They have moved to a larger house, and rent their house to newer Korean immigrants. If I am correct, their daughter is in Columbia U. I really think that is a great thing.Did you also write a piece in the Times a few months ago about accompanying your mother to the supermarket, that was also nicely illustrated.? I am going to try and attend one of your signings. I see that you are having a signing at Johns Hopkins. That is where my daughters will be come late August. Much success!

  2.   Sung Says:

Hi Jeffrey — you got a sharp eye. Both of those pieces were mine, and they were both illustrated by the incredibly talented Jason Schneider (http://www.jasonschneider.com/). I have a print of the grocery-shopping illustration hanging in my office.

I do have a number of readings, and if you are in the Baltimore/DC area, September is when I’ll be making my visit. It’d be great to see you!
