Four Haiku from the Weekend’s Movies

It’s been a while since I had time to watch four movies over a weekend.  Movies are fun!  I should do this more often.  Some of these have been on the backburner for a while; we’re talking a couple of years.  These haiku are not exactly reviews, just reactions.

Not really sure why
I didn’t find this film funny
Old School, that I liked

Still he kills a bunch

crank Crank: High Voltage

Ten times funnier
than The Hangover, enjoy
the Godzilla scene

Of the four films I saw, Crank: High Voltage was my favorite. It’s just a crazy movie from start to finish. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first one, but this one is a ten in my book.

  1. Your haiku crack me up.

I have yet to see the majority of these, but I really enjoyed Crank: High Voltage. Although at some point in watching the movie I started to doubt I had seen the first!
I almost hope for a third, just to see what the writers would come up with next… yet I think it would be hard to top the bizarreness of the second.

    • Those crazy guys (Neveldene and Taylor) have a movie called Gamer coming out next month. I hear it’s even crazier than Crank 2, so I think I may have to watch this one in the theater!
